A diverse and highly qualified group of Australian experts in sustainable architecture, building design and building innovation will judge the 2024 Sustainability Awards.

These auspicious Awards are now in their 18th year and will once again recognise and reward the projects, products, and people from across Australia – and for the first time, the world, that are at the forefront in sustainable building development and design.

The jury will include Simone Schenkle (Sustainable and Energy Efficient Homes), Mahalath Halperin (Mahalath Halperin Architects), Jeremy Spencer (Positive Footprints Sustainable Design & Construction), Christian Hampson (Yerrangbin), William Chan (City of Sydney), Alan Boswell (HDR), Emily Wombwell (SJP), Brad Dorn (BLP), Georgios Anagnostou (Studio Johnston) and Heather McCabe (DJRD Architects).

This year, the Awards will welcome back into the Head Judge’s chair, Dick Clarke (pictured), the former principal of Envirotecture.

This diverse and highly skilled panel of judges will bring their unique perspectives on sustainability together to decide which of the entrants have demonstrated the highest levels of excellence in contributing to a sustainable built environment.

The Awards shortlist will be announced later this year, with the winners to be presented at the Gala Dinner, held in Sydney on Thursday, November 14, 2024.
